I led this project, combining strategy and hands-on craftsmanship by routing the label into bourbon barrel staves, creating a bold, hand-crafted visual identity that extends the storytelling of the “Dank” series.
What happens when you take reDANKulous and barrel-age it? You get DANKWOOD. Building on the original concept and extending it to a line extension, I deconstructed a bourbon barrel and reassembled it using a biscuit joiner to create the label’s textured background. I then routed the branding into the inside of the staves for maximum contrast and visual impact. This project was a fun way to continue to push the boundaries of what craft beer labels can be while elevating the storytelling of the “Dank” series.
